If you hadn't noticed already, we're all about awards, which is why we just had to share the recent achievement of one of our loyal customers...
Peter Swettenham, who runs the Witley Judo Club in Witley, Surrey, won the Eagle Radio Local Hero Sports Award for his dedication and generosity to his local community and the Judo club he runs. The club accepts children with disabilities, equipping them with confidence and skills that they can apply to every day life, which extend further than the skills they learn and master during the Judo lessons.The award ceremony, at which Peter was presented a stunning glass award, was a glamorous event with a handful of celebrities and musicians on hand to present awards and perform. Harlequins Rugby/ England Rugby player George Robson attended the event and presented Peter with his award.
We're really proud of Peter; this is a fantastic and thoroughly deserved achievement. His generosity and passion is at the heart of what he does enabling his enthusiasm and knowledge to reflect brightly in his students.
